The Sandspit Holiday Park’s hygienic and attractive ablution facility features Resco’s cost-effective but durable Series 5000 Compact Laminate range.

Quick but thorough maintenance of a high standard of cleanliness is a top priority in such a constantly used facility as a camp ablution block, says park director, Jared Morrison. Jared and his wife Zena have run this popular and long established beachfront family camp northeast of Warkworth for 11 years and owned it for the past seven years. “We knew before we began the upgrade what we needed the new facilities to withstand,” says Jared.

The surface of Resco’s Compact Laminate partitions and wall linings contain Antibac, an innovative bacteria repelling compound that kills 99% of bacteria within two hours, for the lifetime of the panel. At last year’s annual HAPNZ conference, Sandspit Holiday Park was announced the winner of the Resco / Qualmark award for best facility upgrade throughout New Zealand. The carefully considered shower and toilet block has white tiles with a grey feature combined with the Resco Compact Laminate and fittings in the colours of Dark Brushed Metal, New Graphite and Ironsand. The mixed configuration of large shower and toilet areas and ensuite cubicles containing toilet, shower and basin allows multiple opening options, depending on the number of camp guests.
